An exclusive container is usually faster than a shared one, where consolidated shipments typically run from 70 to 120 days because they wait to be filled and combined. The customs stage is the part that varies most, and it is where delays usually happen when paperwork is incomplete, which is why the documentation stage matters so much. A shipment with a correct inventory and the right documents clears far more smoothly. The distance from the port of entry to the final address in Brazil also adds time. Before shipping you will generally need a Brazilian passport with all pages legible, an RG or CNH showing front and back, and proof of residence abroad, which can be either fourteen months of month by month bank statements in PDF or a residence certificate issued by a Brazilian consulate. Once in Brazil, you will need proof of a Brazilian address and a simple notarisation by similarity on the shipping guides, done at a notary in Brazil or at a consulate.
